When growing up, all I could ever dream of was traveling, seeing the world, and experiencing other cultures.  I was very curious about how other people lived outside the US, the foods they ate, and what they did for fun.  This childhood interest stimulated and inspired “Going Places Together”, I Plan. You Pack. We Travel.  We offer a wide range of small exploration travel opportunities including, international travel, domestic travel, Caribbean (land and sea), glamping experiences and hiking expeditions, etc.

As an independent travel agent, and travel specialist/group coordinator, I recruit and welcome all travel lovers, travel enthusiasts, people who are excited and interested in traveling the world, even first-time travelers.  Whether you are interested in cruising or joining a group travel journey, I invite you to live your best life, I have and I’m thankful to have met so many wonderful people on the way. Good friends,  good food, and FUN!

Places I’ve Been

Amazingly, I have traveled to six of the seven continents and Oceania.  Looking forward to braving the 7th continent of Antarctica.  There's so much to see and enjoy such as Italy, the Colosseum in Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Florence, and high-end shopping in Naples.  Fun food walking tours in Nice, France, black sand beaches in the Canary Islands, Spain, Kuwait Towers in Kuwait, Temples in Bangkok, Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Hiking in Costa Rica, the Opera house, Bondi Beach, Harbor Bridge, and the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, and Zip Lining in Fiji (Oceania).  From Westminster Abbey to Big Ben in London, A cruise on the Seine River in Paris, the views of the Eiffel Tower, and an amazing walking tour of Black Paris, the beautiful and quaint Lucerne. Switzerland, (love the chocolate), and Mt. Pilatus is a must. Venice is my favorite place in Europe mostly because I am obsessed with beautiful building architecture, pizza, and gelato. That brings me to Greece starting with Athens, amazing ruins and architecture. Mykonos and Santorini (blue dome churches) have amazing beach views and great luxury and market shopping. OMG! The food in Greece was simply amazing. Did you know there’s no lettuce in a Greek salad?

Exploring the Scandinavian region was beyond an experience I could have ever imagined~ visiting Berlin, Germany’s Brandenburg Gate, and learning its history, taking in the sights in Stockholm, Sweden, and Helsinki, Finland, Tallinn, Estonia, and Denmark, Copenhagen, learning the culture, and admiring amazingly designed architecture is something that will be etched in my memory for years to come. I’ve also enjoyed many eastern, western, and southern Caribbean destinations, including places like Anguilla, Barbados, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Belize, Jamaica, Saint Kitts, Dominican Republic, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Puerto Rico.

Food I’ve Tried

Although I can be picky about my food, I did try international cuisine.  Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the El Palomar de los Gonzalez is an amazing restaurant that sits on a hilltop in the mountains with a beautiful view of the city, especially at night.  The food is amazing, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

While in Singapore, I tried the Asian version of ramen and the mouthwatering chicken dumplings.   Oh my…. So good, so scrumptious.  Yes, I know, you’re probably thinking, steamed chicken dumplings and ramen?  You went all the way to Southeast Asia and had ramen and chicken dumplings?  I had to try it and oh yes, it didn’t disappoint.  It was so much better than I could imagine. Now to the durian fruit.  It smells bad, but it's delicious.  If you can get past the smell, you will enjoy the taste of the fruit.

While in South Africa on an Ostrich farm tour, I enjoyed a tasty lunch, which included ostrich meat.  Bobotie is a popular South African casserole made of curried ground beef and egg custard.  If you are a vegetarian there’s a lentil bobotie.

Don’t forget the creamy and delicious gelato in Venice and the pizza, OMG! Yummy!! I couldn’t get enough of it.  I did try other Italian cuisines, but my go to while in Venice, without question was the pizza and gelato.
